Is The Rag Company Europe an official, authorized retailer?
Yes. We are the official European distributor for The Rag Company, an IDA Diamond Sponsor and the International Detailing Association's 2026 Brand of the Year. All products sold are authentic and sourced directly from the brands we carry.
How is ordering from The Rag Company Europe different from the US site (theragcompany.com)?
Ordering from theragcompany.eu means EU-based warehousing, pricing in EUR, faster delivery within Europe, and no US customs or import duties — while still getting the same authentic Rag Company products.
What makes your microfiber towels different?
Our microfiber towels are engineered for maximum absorbency, softness, and durability using premium materials and manufacturing processes. We offer a wide range of sizes, GSM weights, colors, and styles to suit any detailing job.
What GSM microfiber towel should I use?
GSM (grams per square meter) indicates thickness and absorbency. As a general guide: 300–400 GSM towels suit glass and light interior cleaning; 400–600 GSM works well for general wiping and wax/sealant removal; 800 GSM and above (for example, our 1100 GSM Liquid8r) is best for drying a full vehicle quickly and absorbently.
Which countries does The Rag Company Europe ship to?
We ship across the EU with fast delivery to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and most other EU member states. We do not currently ship outside of Europe.
Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

How do I care for my microfiber towels?
Machine wash with a mild detergent and no fabric softener or bleach, and tumble dry on low heat (or air dry). Avoid high heat, which can damage the fibers. See our Microfiber Care Guide for full instructions.
Can I use your products on surfaces besides cars?
Yes. While designed for automotive detailing, our towels and accessories also work well on boats, motorcycles, RVs, and general household cleaning.

What is your environmental policy?
We aim to reduce our environmental impact through eco-conscious materials and packaging, and we continually look for ways to improve our sustainability practices.
Pressure Washers
Is it safe to pressure wash my car?
Yes — pressure washing is safe for your car's paint, wheels, and trim when you use a wide-angle nozzle, keep a safe distance, and stay within a moderate pressure range. Our Active 2.0 Pressure Washer is tuned for detailing use: 124 bar peak pressure with a working pressure of around 76 bar (roughly 48 bar through the included wide-fan nozzle) — enough to lift road grime and brake dust without stripping wax or damaging clear coat.
What PSI or bar should I use to wash my car?
Aim for a working pressure of roughly 70–90 bar (about 1,000–1,300 PSI) through a 25° or 40° wide-fan nozzle. Avoid pinpoint (0°) nozzles on paint — they concentrate too much force in one spot. Both the Active 2.0 and Active 2.3 pressure washers in our range are calibrated within this safe working range out of the box.
How far should I hold the nozzle from my car?
Start at least 30–40 cm (about 12–16 inches) away and move closer gradually only if needed. Never hold the nozzle closer than roughly 15 cm on painted surfaces, and keep extra distance around badges, sensors, seams, and any areas with chipped or aging paint.
Can a pressure washer damage my wheels or trim?
It can, if used incorrectly. Pinpoint jets held too close can force water past door and window seals, strip decals, or damage powder-coated and painted wheel finishes. Wheels and tyres tolerate slightly more pressure than paint, but keep the same 30–40 cm distance rule and use a wide-fan nozzle rather than a pinpoint jet.
What pressure washer do you recommend for car detailing?
Our Active 2.0 Pressure Washer is purpose-tuned for detailing: 7.6 L/min flow (ideal for thick foam-cannon suds), 124 bar peak / ~76 bar working pressure, and a 5-piston pump rated for 250+ working hours. For daily or professional use, the Active 2.3 adds a fully rebuildable pump and higher flow (8.7 L/min).
Do you offer product recommendations or consultations?
Yes! Our team is available to provide product recommendations and consultations to help you find the right products for your specific needs. Please contact us for more information.
