How to use P&S Rags to Riches

1. Sort your towels by type (paint towels, wheel towels, interior towels) to avoid cross-contamination.
2. Add 30ml (1oz) of Rags to Riches per load to the detergent compartment.
3. Wash at 40-60°C. The hotter the water, the more contamination dissolves.
4. Skip fabric softener, dryer sheets and bleach. They undo everything Rags to Riches just cleaned.
5. Tumble dry on low or air-dry. High heat weakens fibers over time.

Pro tip: for heavily soiled towels, soak overnight in a bucket with 60ml of Rags to Riches and warm water before washing.

Important: never wash microfiber with cotton towels or shop rags. Cotton lint embeds in the fibers and ruins them for fine detailing work.

FAQ

Why do microfiber towels need a special detergent?
Regular detergent is full of softeners, brighteners and oil-based fragrances that cling to polyester-polyamide fibers and kill absorbency. Rags to Riches is built for synthetic fibers and contains none of that residue-leaving stuff.

Can Rags to Riches save an old, stiff towel?
In most cases, yes. If a towel feels stiff or slides instead of grabs, it's coated in old softener residue, polish or wax. Rags to Riches dissolves that and brings the absorbency back. Towels with real damage (burnt fibers from too much heat, torn loops) can't be saved.

What temperature should I wash at?
40-60°C works best. Hotter water dissolves more wax and oil. 40°C is fine for lightly soiled interior towels, go to 60°C for towels loaded with polish or sealant residue.

Can I use fabric softener with Rags to Riches?
No, don't. Fabric softener does the exact opposite of what Rags to Riches just did. Skip it every time with microfiber.

How much do I use per load?
30ml for a normal load, 60ml if your towels are heavily soiled with polish, sealant or wax. The bottle has dosing marks.
